Terms & Conditions
These terms describe the intended use of this technical streaming access service.
This document is an initial service notice and may be updated as the service evolves. It is intended to define the technical and operational role of the service.
1. Service description
StreamHost provides technical live stream ingest, playback, browser preview, public link and multiview access infrastructure for productions, events and remote monitoring workflows.
The service is designed for controlled production workflows, private signal transport, browser preview links and event-related monitoring. It is not a public video-sharing platform, social media platform, open content hosting service or general audience streaming marketplace.
2. Client responsibility
The Client is solely responsible for the content transmitted through the service, including all required rights, licences, permissions, public performance rights, online communication rights, recording rights, replay rights and ticketing or viewer access permissions.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that its use of the service is lawful in all relevant jurisdictions and does not infringe third-party rights.
3. Ticketing and viewer access
If access to a stream is sold, restricted or distributed to viewers, the Client is responsible for ticketing, payments, refunds, viewer eligibility and customer communication, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
StreamHost provides technical stream access infrastructure. It does not organize events, sell tickets on behalf of the Client, verify viewer eligibility, or clear content rights unless separately agreed in writing.
4. Public browser links
Public browser links are token-based access links. Anyone with a valid public browser link may be able to access the related stream until the link is disabled, expired or regenerated.
The Client is responsible for distributing public browser links only to intended recipients. Public links may be disabled or regenerated at any time.
5. Viewer accounts and access control
Private viewer accounts may be used for controlled access, multiview layouts and session-based viewing. Account credentials must be kept confidential by the Client and by the assigned users.
Depending on the configuration, viewer sessions may be limited, timed out or invalidated to protect the service and prevent unintended sharing.
6. Recording and replay archive
Recording, replay and download features are optional and may be subject to separate availability, storage limits, retention periods and pricing.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that it has the necessary rights for recording, replay, download or on-demand access. Temporary replay archives may be automatically deleted after the agreed retention period.
7. Prohibited use
The service must not be used for unlawful, infringing, abusive, harmful, malicious, fraudulent or unauthorized content or activity.
The service must not be used as an open relay, spam source, illegal redistribution platform, uncontrolled public upload platform, piracy service, or general-purpose public audience streaming platform.
8. Abuse and takedown
We may suspend, disable or remove access to any stream, public link, account or recording if we receive a credible abuse, copyright, legal or security complaint, or if the service is used in a way that may harm the infrastructure, network, provider reputation or third parties.
Abuse or legal notices may be sent to: abuse [at] streamhost [dot] hu
9. Service availability
The service is provided on a best-effort technical basis unless a separate written service level agreement is agreed. Live streaming depends on network availability, source encoder stability, third-party platforms, client-side internet connections and other external factors.
StreamHost cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party platforms, internet providers, local networks, encoders, browsers or viewer devices.
10. International access
Browser playback and stream access may be available internationally, subject to local network conditions, platform restrictions, internet filtering, firewalls, service provider policies and local regulations.
For restricted networks or country-specific delivery requirements, a pre-event access test is recommended.
11. Fees and capacity
Fees may depend on the requested stream capacity, viewer capacity, public link usage, restream targets, recording archive, storage requirements, event duration and support level.
Unless otherwise agreed, service capacity is provided for the agreed event, production or time period only.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamHost is not liable for the Client's content, rights clearance, ticketing, viewer communication, third-party platform restrictions, copyright claims, or losses caused by network, encoder, platform or client-side failures.
13. Contact
For technical, business or abuse-related contact, please use the contact details provided on the main website.
